“After writing and publishing nine books, I hadn’t finished a project in nearly three years. I kept starting new stories, writing about 20K words, and getting stuck.

Dani got me unstuck.

Within a month, I’d written thousands of words—some of my best writing days ever!—and finally completed a project. Her imaginative exercises, creative ideas, and fresh approach to story were more than helpful. They were magical. Thanks to Dani, I'm not just writing again—I'm finishing what I start, with renewed joy and confidence.

Being an editor and author, I see story from both sides. I know what it needs to be strong developmentally and engaging for a reader, and I understand that implementing edits can be complex, time consuming, and sometimes overwhelming.

Which is why I’ve developed tools beyond the traditional editing feedback to help.

These tools not only allow me to be a better partner as your editor, but also give you clear direction on how to revise your novel successfully. They are so valuable, I use them in my own writing too.

What Sets My Edits Apart

Story Compass

This is your truth north as you edit. The story compass gives you a high level analysis of your novel’s major plot points. With it, you will have a clear vision of what your plot and character arcs look like, so that revisions serve your overall story effectively.

Story Roadmap

The Story Roadmap takes the Story Compass a step further. It outlines each scene of your novel with details on the plot, character arc, POV, stakes etc. With the Story Roadmap, you have visibility of your story at a detailed level, so you can weave in revisions seamlessly, and track your progress as you go.
